Abstract

Law, as a course taught at universities, needs to not only involve
the teaching of the mastery and understanding of the laws of a particular
nation but should also involve the teaching of how to analyse and criticise
these laws.

Author Biography

Nadya Rashid

Nadya Rashid is a second year student at Kabarak and Associate Editor at Kabarak Law
Review. In 2022, she submitted this piece as a term paper for her Legal Research and
Writing class, featuring her reflections from the inaugural lecture delivered by Chief
Justice Emeritus Professor Willy Mutunga on 28 January 2022 at Kabarak University.
